Overview

At ACE, we believe in providing excellent value for our subscription services. This policy outlines our approach to refunds and cancellations.

No Refund Policy

All subscription fees are non-refundable.

When you subscribe to ACE, you are charged for the current billing period (monthly or annual). These fees are not refundable, except as required by applicable law.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Here's what happens when you cancel:

  • Immediate effect: Your subscription will be marked for cancellation
  • Continued access: You retain full access to ACE until the end of your current billing period
  • No future charges: You will not be charged for future billing periods
  • Data retention: Your patterns and projects remain accessible during the billing period

Trial Periods

Team plans include a 14-day free trial. During the trial:

  • Full access to all features
  • Cancel anytime before trial ends with no charge
  • After trial ends, your subscription automatically begins
  • Trial periods are available once per organization

Payment Failures

If a payment fails, we provide a 14-day grace period:

  • Days 1-14: Read-only access while we retry payment
  • After 14 days: Access is suspended until payment is resolved
  • Update payment: You can update your payment method at any time in Settings → Billing

Exceptions

We may provide refunds at our discretion in the following cases:

  • Service outages exceeding 24 consecutive hours
  • Duplicate charges due to technical errors
  • As required by applicable consumer protection laws

Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions provide a 20% discount (2 months free). The same no-refund policy applies to annual subscriptions. If you cancel an annual subscription, you retain access until the end of your annual billing period.

Downgrading Plans

When you downgrade to a lower tier:

  • The change takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • No prorated refunds are provided for the remaining time on the higher tier
  • You retain full access to higher-tier features until the period ends
